Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children (LDCC) was in operation as a Dental Assisting Program at Bates Technical College and Clover Park since 1936. In September of 1998 LDCC began operating in a rented dental facility in Parkland. In June of 2001, we purchased a building with a total of 5 treatment rooms. Between 2000 and 2002, we increased our patient services by over 50% and began literally “bursting at the seams.” Thanks to our many dedicated donors, in 2005 we completed our expansion project and moved into our current facility. We now have a total of 10 treatment rooms which has allowed us to expand the depth and breadth of our dental services, providing better access to care, as well as greater collaboration with other specialists to provide expanded services.
The mission of the Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children is to “Provide accessible, compassionate and effective dental care to South Sound children in need.”
Our purpose is to provide dental care to children from low-income families who reside throughout the South Sound area of Western Washington. To provide family education, preventive care and strongly encourage early intervention for even the youngest members of the family. LDCC serves all children between the ages of 0 and 18 years old.
At LDCC we are able to provide dental services for children from low-income families that have barriers to dental care due to lack of insurance or being Medicaid recipients.
